These loans were insured to fail and the "lenders" do not get to collect on the insurance unless the loan defaults. Modifications do not make them any money and they are against what the pooling and servicing agreements state. <br><br>Do you really think twenty million homeowners gathered around the kitchen table one night and said let's take down the entire financial industry, the entire US economy?
